Drogheda Underpass

Dawson WAM Ltd successfully completed a 10m section of railway underpass for Iarnrod Eireann at Drogheda Station.

The work was carried out over a 66hr possession period and included the installation of 12.5m long steel sheet bearing piles, trimmed and capped to level and the placement of 600mm deep pre cast concrete planks & waterproof membrane.

An alternative design was proposed and accepted by our Client.

Within the possession period, time was allocated to Irish Rail for uplifting and replacement of railway lines.
