River Quaggy Giken 001

Silent-Vibrationless Sheet Piling

DAWSON-WAM own and operate a Giken silent piler which is a means of installing steel sheet piles in a silent and vibration-free manner. The equipment operates on the press-in principle which utilises reaction force derived from fully installed piles as a counter weight to hydraulically press-in subsequent piles. There are a number of major advantageous in that the piler 'walks' along the top of the installed sheet piles and is therefore an ideal solution in areas of limited access.
