Pipelines

DAWSON-WAM undertake both small and large scale pipeline installations with sizes varying from 100mm to 3m in diameter. We can offer installation of small housing development drainage packages to that of large diameter trunk mains. DAWSON-WAM have extensive experience in laying all diameters of pipe in varying materials from uPVC and concrete to ductile iron and polyethylene. We can also offer a variety of installation methods including, but not limited to:

  • Open cut
  • Directional drilling
  • Pipe bursting
  • Micro-tunnelling
  • Pipe jacking
  • Small & large diameter pipe welding

In addition we have extensive experience in manhole and chamber construction to that of sinking shafts for pumping stations and tunnelling installations.

DAWSON-WAM are seen as specialists when it comes to laying pipes at depth in poor ground conditions. We can offer a wide variety of temporary trench support methods from the installation of sheet piles, to contiguous and secant piled walls.

DAWSON-WAM were engaged by NI Water to complete the rehabilitation and upgrade of Belfast's aging sewer network under a framework agreement.
DAWSON-WAM were engaged by NI Water to complete the construction of a new final effluent pump-away for Dungannon WwTW.
The project consisted of the upgrade of an existing gravity fed foul sewerage network which transfers flows from the Aldergrove catchment area.
